Day 1. Wednesday 11. September – Home to Shambhala (L, D)

We depart Toowoomba early morning to Shambhala Gardens, stopping for morning tea on the way. Our second stop is the Shambhala Gardens, welcome to the home of the world’s largest and most beautiful crystal.

The enchanting Shambhala Gardens are exquisite landscaped subtropical gardens filled with some amazing treasures. We will have lunch at the Shambhala Gardens and then enjoy exploring the gardens. Late in the afternoon, we make our way to the accommodation to refresh before meeting for dinner.

Day 2. Thursday 12. September Ocean Shores To Home (B & L)

This morning is a leisurely start before we board the coach to visit the Byron Lighthouse. The lighthouse is on the most easterly point, atop a bald, rocky headland, offering sweeping views over the Pacific Ocean and a unique historical insight into the region. After exploring the lighthouse and Maritime Museum we make our way back to our next stop for lunch.

Before we make our way home, we are stopping at the Centenary of Federation State Border Marker, which offers a great view of the area towards the Gold Coast as well. The Border marker between New South Wales and Queensland was officially opened on the 21st of January 2001 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Federation of Australia. We will arrive home in Toowoomba in the afternoon, having had a fantastic holiday.

Note: All Itineraries are subject to change due to occasional restrictions in opening times/days of some attractions, e.g. churches, wineries, etc. We cannot be held responsible for any changes due to closures, inclement weather etc. This itinerary is going through a National Park.
