Today is the start of our lovely Christmas Tour. We depart approx. 7.45am from Toowoomba and enjoy our country drive to Stanthorpe where we stop for morning tea.

This Winery area is known for the Grape & Apple Festival. Travelling along the lovely Countryside to our next stop at the picturesque township of Deepwater for lunch at the Longhorn Bar and Grill.

Our journey continues through the Australian Countryside via Glenn Innes to Uralla for our overnight stay.

Uralla is a wonderful place; great climate and the locals are very friendly. We will have time to settle into our accommodation and refresh before we meet for dinner.

Day 2, Uralla to Forster B, L & D

Following Breakfast, we travel to see the Gloucester Township, which is in the spectacular Bucketts Mountains. We enjoy a town tour before we visit, the Hillview Herb Farm.

Get set for a taste bud sensation! We will be served a light lunch followed by a tour of the herb garden.

After a lovely tour and lunch, we make our way to Forster where we stay for the next 4 nights. We settle in before we met for our sunset Cruise /Dinner. We are boarding our sunset Cruise around 5.30pm.

Once we head out through the Cape Hawke Harbour inlet to the ocean, you will possibly see Bottlenose Dolphins.

As we take in the beauty of a Forster/Tuncurry or Pacific Palms sunset on the comfortable deck seating and enjoy the lovely surroundings. After our arrival back we make our way to dinner.

Day 3, Exploring Forster & Cruising B, L & D

Today, we will explore the sights that the region has on offer. We will visit the Forster Arts and Craft Centre.

This is the largest working Craft Centre in NSW. Members can be seen daily working at their individual craft. No trip to Forster-Tuncurry would be complete without trying the local delicacy!

Did you know Forster-Tuncurry is the largest producer of Sydney Rock oysters in NSW?

Generations of oyster farmers have worked on Wallis Lake to supply the delicacy to fish markets across the country. Lunch will be at Hamilton’s Oysters Bar & Restaurant (an opportunity to purchase some Oysters).

After lunch, we visit the Great Lake Museum. Before we return to the accommodation we make our way to the Bennetts Head Lookout, which offers spectacular views across the Tasman Sea.

Dinner at a local restaurant. We will enjoy a small tour of the town to see some Christmas lights.

Day 4, Christmas Day in Forster B, L & D

There will be an opportunity to join a mass or have a relaxed morning before we head off to our lovely Christmas Lunch. We are joining a Lunch Cruise, prepare for an extraordinary adventure as we navigate the pristine waters of Wallis Lake.

The Wallis is an expanse of silver water of immense beauty spared by lack of depth. After lunch, just a couple minutes away we make our way to the Cape Hawke lookout, which offers spectacular views along the coast from the top of a dedicated tower.

Light dinner tonight.

Day 5, Exploring The Barrington Coast B, L & D

Travelling today to the Booti Booti National Park, positioned right at the northern end of Booti Booti.

This superb lookout is worth every step of the 500m hike through regenerating littoral rainforest. Bird watching is wonderful year-round here. From there, we go to Seal Rocks, an isolated seaside village. It's famous for its beautiful lighthouse overlooking wild and remote beaches.

Seal Rocks lighthouse is an active lighthouse located on Sugarloaf Point and overlooks an unspoilt beach and the group of offshore rocky outcrops that give the area its name. It was built 1874-75 and is one of only two lighthouse towers in Australia with an external stairway.

It still uses the original main light which consists of a 16-sided catadioptric system of lenses and curved mirrors. On our way back to Forster we stop for lunch. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 6, 2024 Forster To Coffs Harbour B, MT, L & D

We are travelling to Coffs Harbour along the coast. Our first stop will be Port Macquarie for Morning tea, near the Tacking Point Lighthouse (built in 1879, this white cement lighthouse with a keeper’s cottage sits on a rocky headland).

On our way to Nambucca, we stop at the Eungai Creek Buffalo Farm (hand-crafted gourmet dairy products made from buffalo milk right here on the farm).

We are travelling to Nambucca Head for lunch at the Golf Club overlooking the Nambucca River.

Our final stop for 1 night is Coffs Harbour. We have time to settle into our Accommodation and refresh for dinner.

Day 7, Coffs Harbour to Home B, MT, L

We make our way to Maclean a slice of Scotland. We stop for morning tea at the Maclean Lookout, the view from the Lookout is spectacular of the coast, bushland, cane fields, river, islands and township. It gives a perspective of the floodplain, estuarine, and coastal connection.

We enjoy a farewell lunch around Kingscliff. Before we head back, we will stop at Point Danger to farewell NSW and welcome Queensland. Enjoy the wonderful lookout. This afternoon, sit back and relax as your journey takes you back to Toowoomba. Sadly, our great tour comes to an end.
