Enjoy a relaxing coastal getaway to beautiful Bribie Island, the smallest and most northerly of the sand islands in Moreton Bay. Much of the island is a peaceful national park, making it a perfect destination for a gentle and enjoyable day out. As we cross the Bribie Island Bridge, take in lovely views of the Pumicestone Passage, with the magnificent Glass House Mountains in the distance.
After morning tea, we visit the Bribie Island Butterfly House, run by local volunteers. Stroll through the spacious enclosure and enjoy hundreds of colourful
butterflies flying freely around you — a calm and delightful experience.
We then visit the Bribie Island Seaside Museum, showcasing the island’s history, seaside life and local stories. Next, sit back and relax on a scenic lunch cruise aboard the Lady Brisbane. Enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch onboard while cruising the tranquil waters around Bribie Island, Skirmish Point, Gilligan’s Island and Deception Bay.
After our cruise, we return to Toowoomba withwonderful memories of a relaxed and enjoyable day by the sea.
