We’re heading off on an exciting journey from Toowoomba to Goondiwindi for a fun and educational day exploring one of Australia’s essential agricultural industries — cotton farming!
Enjoy a guided tour of the Alcheringa Cotton Farm. On this working cotton property, you’ll: Learn about planting, irrigation & harvesting techniques, see cotton-picking machinery in action, discover how modern farming supports sustainable production.
After the farm tour, enjoy a hearty lunch at a local pub before continuing our journey. Final Stop: Yelarbon Silos. On our return trip, we’ll visit the Yelarbon Silos — a landmark of the region’s grain industry and home to stunning silo art that celebrates rural life.
